STEP ONE: Trim that Wick Before lighting that match, be sure to trim your wick down to 1/4".
|
STEP TWO: Give it Time
Your first burn needs to be long enough to allow the wax to melt across the entire surface of the candle. This extended burning time will help you avoid "tunneling," the name for when wax doesn't spread evenly, and you're left with a tunnel around the wick. So burn, baby, burn! (NOTE: If you're purchasing our LIMITED Bubble Fragrances and choose to light them, tunneling is normal. Be sure to place these decor candles on a surface that can handle the heat and liquid of hot wax.) |
STEP THREE: Keep it Undercover From here on out, be sure to trim your wick down to 1/4" before each burn. When not lit, cover your candle with a glass cloche to preserve its fragrance and avoid dust from settling across the top. |
STEP FOUR: Reuse Your Beautiful Vessel Remove the final 1/2 of wax and enjoy it in a wax melter. Clean the vessel and use it as a holder for your makeup brushes, pens, or toiletries. It also works as an adorable mini planter.
